“Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert
and rivers in the dry land.” – Isaiah 43:19
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” – C. S. Lewis
Food for thought: Are we allowing God to continue to create new paths in our lives? It is very easy to fall in to “the daily grind” once we go back into our lives. Our challenge for this new year is to bring back the meta narrative in our lives. The challenge is for us to remember that our lives were meant for great and mighty things for God, because we serve a great God.
I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out
in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom
of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time.
– Jack London
